A.O.P Gigondas Rouge
The vineyard located in a corner of the large 10-hectare ‘La Beaumette’ parcel gave birth to this wine. We discovered it during our pre-blending tastings in 2004. This newcomer surprised us with its fullness and great harmony, despite its youth. We had two choices: blend it identically to the other years and let this gift of nature disappear, or accept that we didn't understand and share our discovery with Montirius enthusiasts by bottling it separately. That's how the name of the cuvée came about, because it's an expression of the place.
